BISD Board Elects Not to Call Bond for May Election

(Bastrop) – The Bastrop Independent School District Board of Trustees discussed the merits of a proposed $85 million bond in a special meeting held on Monday, February 13 and again Thursday, February 16. BISD Child Development Center Earns Highest Designation

(Bastrop)—The Child Development Center at Cedar Creek Elementary has earned a 4-star designation by the Texas Rising Star program. The rating is the highest awarded by Texas Rising Star, which is a program of the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The Cedar Creek facility joins the Child Development Center at Emile Elementary, which had previously earned its 4-star designation.
